Yosemite National Park with @Tiffpenguin
No summer trip is complete without heading out to Yosemite National Park. We had a few days off work and decided to hit the Valley to create some new adventures. Yosemite is one of those places you can visit numerous times a year and always find a new place to explore. With dozens of overflowing waterfalls, epic views of Half Dome, and endless hiking trails, it’s no wonder this place keeps bringing me back.
Usually, the weather in Yosemite during the summertime is hot and humid, but Mother Nature decided to surprise us a little this time around.
We experienced some of the densest fog I’ve ever been in and hiked through torrential rain for a few days. The rain really put our Aqua Quest bags to the test and sure enough, our gear stayed super dry without any problems! After a few days of bad weather, the clouds cleared and the weather couldn’t be more perfect. We hiked some of our favourite trails and found a few new ones to explore as well.
Hiking and exploring are some of my favourite things to do, but sometimes just hanging out at the campsite or catching a sunrise by the Merced River can be just as rewarding. Can’t forget about the simple things in life!
