Perfect size for my tent, gives me plenty of space to be sheltered underneath if it rains.
Once the tarp is rolled up in the bag, it really doesn't take up much space.

Solid waterproof tarp

Very versatile tarp! I liked the large size so much I got the 10x20 as well. With both, we have a variety of coverage, either making a vestibule or ensuring the tent and screen room are really waterproof as we live underneath for a few days (see pics).Hammock camping with this is awesome. BF bought a very small tarp that just covers himself, so I cover myself, the gear, and the dog with no problem under this. Hang with the 2nd loops off the opposite corners gives me more than enough coverage for the hammock, plus a long point for a single-stake tieout with no cordage needed, and the dangling flaps close up to make wind doors at each end. It's just the perfect size, and not too heavy to lug around. There are so many tieouts on this, it's really easy to use in a bunch of different layouts, even in 'winter mode' by closing up doors on each end (there's another user's photo showing this setup). I haven't really pulled it tight-tight, but it does have some give to it, and remains taut.Overall, I think these AquaQuest tarps are an excellent value, especially when compared in price to some of the outdoor equipment vendors' tarps, which are usually smaller in size anyway.

This one isn't perfect

I spent a lot of time looking for a smaller tarp to take the place of a 10' x 16' tarp. This one isn't perfect- I wanted an 8' x 8' square tarp- but the quality is good, the size is usable, it's light, and the sale price was too good to pass up. I've added one more tie out to make a lean to setup a bit easier but that's a matter of personal preference.

This was a trip maker on our recent hike through Olympic Park! It rained almost the entire time, so to have a large tarp to cover our communal area at camp was really great. It held up great for 3 nights with no leaks or tears, and it's pretty light for it's size. Feels about like carrying an extra 2 person tent and was well worth bringing along.
